This is to inform the general public that the admission requirements for the Department of Urban & Regional Planning at the Ibadan Polytechnic (IBADAN POLY) have been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Urban and Regional Planning include the following:
- Mathematics,
- Geography and three other subjects from:
- English Language,
- Economics/Commerce,
- Fine Art/Technical Drawing,
- Further Mathematics,
- Chemistry,
- Physics,
- Biology/Agricultural
- Science,
- History/Government
- Business Methods/Bookkeeping
- Principles of Accounting
- At least a credit pass in English Language is compulsory.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Geography and two other subjects from the course requirement
IBADANPOLY JAMB Cut-Off Mark
For any candidate to be admitted to any Department at the Ibadan Polytechnic (IBADAN POLY) the Candidate must score 150 and above in JAMB.
