Igbinedion University, Okada (IUO) has confirmed the resumption date for fresh students for the 2026/2027 academic session. The rest of the calendar, including the lecture start date, matriculation and exam dates, had not been published as a standalone 2026/2027 document at the time of writing.
What’s Confirmed for 2026/2027
IUO’s own university calendar document confirms that fresh students come into residence for the first semester of the 2026/2027 session on Saturday, 26th September. That date appears at the tail end of the university’s published 2025/2026 calendar as the official marker for when the new session begins.
