Education and Geography/Physics is listed under the Faculty of Education at Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola. The combined title runs right through the requirements, with Geography and Physics offered as alternatives to each other at every stage.
That pairing is the key to reading this page. Wherever the requirement says Geography slash Physics, a candidate satisfies it by offering either subject rather than both.
Confirm that Education and Geography/Physics appears on the current MAUTECH course list and that your JAMB registration records it correctly. A course entered in error cannot be assessed against these conditions.

Geography or Physics, Either Way, at MAUTECH
The O’Level requirement is five SSCE credits in Mathematics, English Language, Physics or Geography, Chemistry and Biology. Four of the five are fixed, and only the third slot allows the choice.
That makes the O’Level line the strictest part of the page. A candidate taking the Geography option still needs Chemistry and Biology at credit level, which is easy to miss.
The UTME combination is more open. English Language is compulsory, Geography or Physics is fixed, and the remaining two subjects may come from either the sciences or the social sciences.
Direct Entry is the shortest route. Two ‘A’ level passes or an NCE at merit level are required and must include Geography or Physics, with the second subject unspecified.
A JAMB score of 180 and above is the screening threshold for the 2026/2027 session at MAUTECH.
