NDA Department of Chemistry Admission Requirement 2024/2025

This article is designed to help students who wish to study chemistry under the Faculty of Sciences at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA).

NDA Cut-off Mark

It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered by NDA to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna is one of the first of two Military Universities in Nigeria. Nigerian Army University, established in 2018 in Biu, Borno State, is the other military university that does not offer military training.

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Chemistry; You require;

Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and any other Science subject from Further Mathematics and Biology or Agricultural Science.

JAMB Subject Combination

Please be aware that the English language is a requirement for this course in the UTME. Consequently, the three (3) additional JAMB UTME subject pairings are required to study. Chemistry under the Faculty of Sciences in the above Universities includes;

Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Biology.

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Chemistry if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require; NCE/Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics.

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into NDA for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 180 or above in your JAMB result.
