The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) doesn’t run a single September-to-June calendar the way conventional universities do. It runs two numbered semesters a year, each with its own registration, facilitation and examination windows, so there isn’t a single “2026/2027 academic calendar” document in the way this page’s title suggests.
NOUN Academic Calendar: Current Status
NOUN’s own site references an approved calendar for the current year under its news and announcements section, but the semester-by-semester dates (facilitation start, pen-on-paper exams, e-exams, course registration deadlines) aren’t something we could pull and verify date by date from here. Some aggregator sites publish a full semester breakdown for NOUN, but the dates tend to get attached to the wrong semester number or year, so we’d rather send you to the source than risk passing along a mismatched schedule.
Your most reliable options are the NOUN student portal, where your personalized semester calendar shows up once you’re registered, or the Information Call Centre, which NOUN publishes for exactly this kind of question.

We’ll rework this page into a verified semester-by-semester breakdown once we can confirm the dates directly against NOUN’s own calendar document.
