Business Administration at Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) is built around two named subjects, Mathematics and Economics, with a wide list of commercial and social science papers accepted around them.
The lists differ between stages. A subject accepted at O’Level is not automatically accepted at Direct Entry, so each route needs to be read separately before you commit to a combination.

WAEC/NECO Subject Combination
The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Business Administration is Five (5) SSCE credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, and Economics, plus any two (2) of Business Methods, Accounting, Commerce, Geography, Government, and Statistics.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Business Administration at NSUK are Mathematics, Economics and one (1) other subject.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Business Administration if you do not intend to use UTME.
You require two (2) ‘A’ level passes chosen from Economics, Geography, Government, Business Management, Accounts, or Statistics.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into NSUK for the 2026/2027 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
Reading the NSUK Business Administration Subject Lists
The O’Level requirement is five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics and Economics, plus any two of Business Methods, Accounting, Commerce, Geography, Government and Statistics.
That is a generous list for a commercial course. A candidate from a business studies background at secondary school will usually find two acceptable papers without difficulty.
The UTME combination is much shorter. English Language is compulsory, Mathematics and Economics are named, and the third subject is left entirely open.
Direct Entry asks for two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Economics, Geography, Government, Business Management, Accounts or Statistics. Business Methods and Commerce appear at O’Level but not here.
A JAMB score of 180 and above is the screening threshold for the 2026/2027 session at NSUK.
