Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
The JAMB combination repeats three of the named credits with English Language as the compulsory fourth paper. No substitution is offered at registration.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Computer Science if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
- ND/HND in Computer Science Upper/Lower credit, respectively
Direct Entry names all three sciences at A Level, and adds a diploma route through an ND at upper credit or an HND at lower credit in Computer Science.
That diploma route is the only way into the programme that avoids the three science passes.
Jamb Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into OAU for the 2026/2027 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 200 or above in your JAMB result.
The Diploma Route Into OAU Computer Science
Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are named credits, fixed JAMB papers and required A Level passes, so they decide every route except one.
An ND at upper credit or an HND at lower credit in Computer Science is the exception. Otherwise secure the four named credits and clear 200 in JAMB for the 2026/2027 session.
