This is to inform the general public and all Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) aspirants that the Department of Education & Political Science admission requirements have been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Education & Political Science include the following:
- Five SSCE credit passes or equivalent to include English Language, Government/ History, and 3 other subjects.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Government/History plus 2 other Arts or Social Science subjects

These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and Political Science if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two ‘A’ level passes in relevant subjects chosen from Government or History, Economics, and Geography/Physics.
- NCE merit pass in Govt./History, Economics, and Geography/Physics
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted to Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 150 or above in your JAMB result.
