TASUED Department of Education & Sociology Admission Requirement 2024/2025

This is to inform the general public and all Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) aspirants that the Department of Education & Sociology admission requirements have been published.

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Education & Sociology include the following:

  • Five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes at one (1) sitting or six (6) ‘O’ Level credit passes at two (2) sittings to include English Language Mathematics, two (2) Arts subjects, and any other from Social Science

JAMB UTME Subject Combination

Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB

  • English Language
  • Two Arts subjects and any other

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education & Sociology if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;

  • Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes/NCE merit/credit in Economics, Government/Political Science, Religious Studies, History, Geography/ and Social Studies.

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted to Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 150 or above in your JAMB result.

Conclusions

The Tai Solarin University of Education is a state university in Ijebu-ode, Ogun State, Nigeria. The institution was established in 2005 and is Ogun State’s second state university to receive authorization.

The University is the only institution in the country that offers both the bachelor’s degree programmes in education (B.Ed.) and trains National Certificate of Education (NCE) graduates within the same academic environment.
