General University Admission Requirements apply across all faculties, alongside specific faculty requirements published on the university’s website. You’ll need to meet both the general and your programme’s specific requirements to qualify.

How to Apply for UNIBEN Part-Time Admission
Applications opened at 7:00am on 1st September 2026 and close at midnight on 30th November 2026. Have a valid email address ready before you start.
- Visit uniben.edu.ng and click on Student Portal.
- From there, go to the Online Application link for the myuniben portal. A heads-up: the old standalone “myuniben.org” address has been hijacked and no longer belongs to the university, so only start from uniben.edu.ng itself.
- Click “Start a new application,” read the instructions, and continue.
- Fill in your personal data and select Programme Type, Faculty, Department, and Programme for your first and second choice courses.
- Pay the application fee with a Visa or Mastercard. Note that different reports currently quote different figures for this fee, so confirm the exact amount shown on the portal itself before paying; don’t trust a number from a blog post.
- Upload a recent, clear 1×1 colour passport photograph with a red background, in JPEG format. This becomes your official ID for the rest of your time at UNIBEN, so getting it wrong risks disqualification.
- Preview and confirm your information before submitting; no corrections are accepted after the closing date.
- Print your acknowledgment slip, which contains your screening schedule.
About the Entrance Examination
Some programmes require a computer-based entrance examination; others admit based on general requirements approved by the Senate, with no entrance exam. You’ll also need to complete biometric capture at a JAMB-approved centre on jamb.org.ng, which carries its own separate fee.
GSM phones and calculators aren’t allowed at the screening. Get your application in before the November 30 deadline, late submissions won’t be accepted.
