Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Actuarial Science include Five SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
English Language, Mathematics, Economics, plus any other two (2) relevant subjects.
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks
UNIJOS requires Mathematics and any other two (2) subjects from Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Business Methods, Statistics, Government, or Economics.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Economics and another subject
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks
UNIJOS requires ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and any three (3) subjects from Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Business Methods, Statistics, Government or Economics.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Actuarial Science if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ level passes to include English Language and Mathematics.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIJOS for the 2025/2026 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a minimum score of 180 or above in your JAMB result.
