O’Level Subject Combination
Below is the O’level Requirement for Computer Science (UTME CANDIDATES)
Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, and Physics, plus two (2) other science subjects
JAMB Subject Combination
English Language(*), Mathematics, Physics, and one (1) of Biology, Chemistry, Agric Science, Economics, and Geography.

One Requirement Set Covers Twenty UNILAG Computing Courses
That breadth is the most useful thing on this page. A candidate preparing for Computer Science is simultaneously prepared for Information Technology, Data Management, Telecommunication Science and the rest of the listed programmes.
The O’Level requirement is five SSC credit passes including English Language, Mathematics and Physics, plus two other science subjects.
The JAMB combination fixes English Language, Mathematics and Physics, then takes the fourth paper from Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Economics or Geography.
Economics and Geography on that list are worth noting, since neither is a science subject. They let a candidate with a mixed background still meet the combination.
Direct Entry offers two routes. Two A level passes in science subjects including Mathematics, or an NCE merit in Mathematics with one other Science or Social Science subject.
Mathematics is the thread through all of it. It is a compulsory credit, a compulsory JAMB paper and a named subject in both Direct Entry routes. The UNILAG JAMB score is 200 and above.
