The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is a federal government research university in Lagos State, Nigeria.
The school has maintained one of the most competitive in the country regarding admissions. UNILAG has one of the largest student population sizes of any university in the country.
In this article, we will list the requirements candidates must meet to study Education and Physics at the University of Lagos, ranging from O’level subject combination, JAMB Score and Post UTME Score, and departmental cut-Off mark.
To study Education and Physics, candidates must meet the following requirements.
Two subject lists follow, one for the O’level credits and one for the four JAMB papers, along with the score the university requires before a candidate is considered for any department.

JAMB Score
For any candidate to be admitted to any Department in the University of Lagos, the Candidate must score 200 and above in JAMB.
Technical Certificates Accepted at UNILAG Education and Physics
The O’level line ends with a detail that is easy to miss. Alongside five credit passes including English Language, Physics and Mathematics plus two other science subjects, the page also accepts NTC or NBC qualifications.
That brings technical and business college candidates into a programme that otherwise reads as a straight science combination.
Physics and Mathematics are the subjects to secure first, since both are named outright at O’level and both appear again in the JAMB combination.
At UTME the entry reads English Language, Physics, Mathematics or Chemistry, plus one other subject, so Chemistry enters only as an alternative at that stage.
On score, the university asks for 200 and above in JAMB for admission to any of its departments, which applies to this programme as well.
