The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is a federal government research university in Lagos State, southwestern Nigeria. The university has remained one of the most competitive in the country regarding admissions. UNILAG has one of the largest student populations of any university in the country.

In this article, we will list the requirements candidates must meet to study Mass Communication at Lagos State University, ranging from O’level subject combination, JAMB Score and Post UTME Score and departmental cut-Off mark.

To study Mass communication, candidates must meet the following requirements.

Mass Communication Admission Requirement

O’Level Subject Combination

Below is the O’level Requirement for MASS COMMUNICATION in the faculty of Social/Management Sciences

  • Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language and four (4) other subjects in Arts or Social Sciences.

Jamb Subject Combination

Below is the UTME/JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION for MASS COMMUNICATION in the faculty of Social/Management Sciences

  • English Language(*), and any three (3) Arts and Social Science subjects.

Direct Entry Requirement for Mass Communication

Below is the Direct Entry (DE) Requirement for MASS COMMUNICATION in the Social/Management Sciences faculty.

  • Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Arts or Social Science subjects.

JAMB Score

For any candidate to be admitted to any Department in the University of Lagos, the Candidate must score 200 and above in JAMB.
