Political Science is offered at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences. This page covers the O’Level credits, the JAMB combination, the Direct Entry route and the JAMB score.

UNILAG is a federal government research university in Lagos State, in south western Nigeria. It remains among the most competitive institutions in the country for admissions, and holds one of the largest student populations of any Nigerian university.
Government or History is compulsory in all three sections, and Mathematics is required at pass level rather than as a credit.
Beyond those two the rules are open, with three unspecified O’Level credits and two freely chosen UTME papers.

Those three other credits carry no restriction, so a science or commercial background is no obstacle here.
The JAMB combination names English Language and Government or History, with two other Social Science or Arts subjects.
Direct Entry is the shortest clause, asking for two A level passes with Government or History among them and no second subject named.
The JAMB score for any UNILAG department is 200 and above. With subject rules this open, that score and the Post UTME are where places are decided.
