The University of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka, has published the admission requirements for its Department of Dentistry, covering the O’Level credits, the JAMB UTME papers and both cut-off marks.
Dentistry is among the most demanding departments at UNN on score. The university cut-off is 200, while this department requires 250 at screening.
The subject requirements are equally firm, naming all five O’Level credits with no alternatives offered for any of them.

Fifty Points Above the Minimum at UNN Dentistry
The O’Level requirement is five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Every place is named.
The JAMB papers are Use of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, repeating four of those five credits. Mathematics is the only one not tested again at UTME.
That means there is nothing extra to prepare for the examination, and the real difficulty lies in the screening mark rather than the subjects.
Plan around 250 from the start. Clearing the 200 university cut-off only takes you into the screening exercise, where Dentistry applies its own far higher standard.
