    UNN Department of Economics Admission Requirements 2024/2025

    This is to inform the general public that the management of the University Of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka, has published the admission requirements for her Department of Economics admission aspirants.

    The admission requirements consist of O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

    UNN Department Of Economics Admission Requirements

    O’level Subject Combination

    Candidates who wish to study economics at the University Of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka, must possess Five O Level credit passes in English language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other relevant subject at WASC or GCE O level.

    JAMB UTME Subject Combination

    Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.

    • Economics
    • Mathematics and any two subjects below:
    • Government
    • History
    • Geography
    • English Language
    • Literature in English
    • French
    • CRK

    Generally, For any candidate to be admitted into the University Of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka, for any course at all, the candidate must score 200 and above in jamb. That is to say that the University Of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka JAMB Cut-Off mark is 200.

    UNN Department Of Economics Departmental Cut-Off Mark

    The UNN Department of Economics Departmental Cut Off Mark is 200. Candidates who seek admission to the University Of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka Department of Economics must score 200 and above in the school UTME Screening exercise.

    Conclusions

    The Federal Government of Nigeria runs and oversees the University of Nigeria, established in 1960 in Enugu State in the southeast.

    The university has a very competitive admissions process and does not consider a student’s age, cultural background, or religion when deciding whether to admit them. Thus, a diverse student body is made possible.
