The University of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka, has published the admission requirements for its Department of Estate Management, covering the O’Level credits, the JAMB UTME papers and both cut-off marks.

Geography is the subject that distinguishes Estate Management here. It is a compulsory O’Level credit, which is unusual, and it does not appear in the JAMB combination at all.
Around it the O’Level list is remarkably broad, with ten subjects offered for the two remaining credits.

Geography Is Compulsory for UNN Estate Management, Economics for JAMB
The O’Level requirement fixes English Language, Mathematics and Geography, then takes two more from a list that spans the sciences, the social sciences and the arts.
Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Government, Biology, Art, History, IRK or CRK, Social Studies and Technical Drawing all count, so almost any secondary school profile can be made to fit.
The JAMB combination is different in an important way. Use of English, Mathematics and Economics are named, with one other subject completing the four papers.
Economics is therefore compulsory at UTME but only optional at O’Level, while Geography is the reverse. Reading both lists together is the way to avoid a gap.
Both score figures are 200, the university cut-off and the departmental mark alike, so there is no additional hurdle at screening for this department.
