The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Industrial Technical Education include the following:
Five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes to include Physics or Mathematics.
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks
UNN requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes to include Physics or Mathematics at GCE/SSC, NTC, City, and Guilds intermediate in addition to the UTME entry requirements
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language
- Mathematics, Physics, and one (1) other Science subject
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Industrial Technical Education if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Physics and Mathematics.
- ND lower credit in Civil Engineering, Production/Electrical Engineering.
- Final City and Guilds or its equivalent plus National Technical Certificate.
- NCE credit in Technical Education plus ‘O’ Level credit passes in Physics or Mathematics
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNN for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a minimum of 160 or above score in your JAMB result.
