This is to inform the general public and all Adeyemi College of Education (ACEONDO) aspirants that the Department of Christian Religious Studies/Geography admission requirements have been published.

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
This combination pairs an Arts subject with a subject that sits across the Arts and the Sciences. Christian Religious Studies and Geography are both required on each list.
Neither list restricts the final place. One Ordinary Level credit and one JAMB paper may be in any subject at all, which keeps the requirement broad.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Christian Religious Studies/Geography include the following: Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- C.R.S
- Geography and one other subject
English Language, Mathematics, C.R.S and Geography are the four named credits. The fifth may be any subject the candidate holds.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Christian Religious Studies
- Geography and any other subject
That final entry covers two papers, giving English Language, Christian Religious Studies, Geography and one further subject of the candidate’s choosing.
Geography is the subject most likely to decide an application here, since fewer candidates carry it than carry Christian Religious Studies.

Geography Decides This ACEONDO Application
Confirm your Geography credit first, since it is named on both lists and no alternative subject is accepted in its place.
Christian Religious Studies, English Language and Mathematics complete the named Ordinary Level credits, leaving one unrestricted place.
Then check that your JAMB registration carries Geography and Christian Religious Studies, and that your score reaches the 120 screening threshold.
