This is to inform the general public and all Adeyemi College of Education (ACEONDO) aspirants that the Department of Christian Religious Studies/Igbo admission requirements have been published.

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Igbo is required on both lists, which is the condition most likely to limit who can apply. Christian Religious Studies sits beside it in each case.
The final place differs between the two lists. At Ordinary Level it may be any subject, while in JAMB it must be an Arts subject.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Christian Religious Studies/Igbo include the following: Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- C.R.S
- Igbo and any other subject
English Language, Mathematics, C.R.S and Igbo are the four named credits, with one unrestricted place to make up the five.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Igbo
- Christian Religious Studies and any other Arts subject
The last entry covers two papers, giving English Language, Igbo, Christian Religious Studies and one more Arts subject.
A candidate who holds Igbo at Ordinary Level will usually be able to offer it in JAMB as well, so the two lists work together rather than against each other.

The Igbo Credit Behind This ACEONDO Course
Everything in this application turns on holding Igbo, because the subject appears on both lists and no substitute is offered for it.

In JAMB the fourth paper must be an Arts subject, and the overall score needs to reach 120 for the college screening exercise.
