This is to inform the general public and all Adeyemi College of Education (ACEONDO) aspirants that the Department of Education & Social Studies admission requirements have been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Education & Social Studies include the following: Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language plus two (2) Arts /Social Science subjects and any two subjects.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language and any three (3) subjects from below:
- Christian Religious Studies
- Economics
- Geography/Physics
- Government
- History
- Islamic Studies
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and Social Studies if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require:
- NCE Social Studies from recognized Colleges
- Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in relevant subjects
