Education and Geography is taught under the Faculty of Education at The Federal University, Kashere. Geography is required at every stage, and Physics appears as an alternative only at Direct Entry.
Two of the five O’Level credits are unrestricted, which makes the secondary school stage the easiest part of this application to satisfy.

WAEC/NECO Subject Combination
The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Education and Geography is Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Geography, English Language and Mathematics.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Education and Geography under the Faculty of Education at FUKASHERE include;
Geography plus two (2) other Social Sciences/Arts subjects.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and Geography if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes/NCE merit which should include Geography/Physics.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into FUKASHERE for the 2026/2027 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
Physics Becomes an Option Only at Direct Entry for FUKASHERE Education and Geography
The O’Level requirement is five SSC credit passes to include Geography, English Language and Mathematics. The remaining two credits carry no restriction at all.
Mathematics is compulsory at that stage and never reappears. A candidate without the credit is excluded before the later subject lists come into play.
The UTME combination keeps English Language compulsory, fixes Geography, and allows two other Social Sciences or Arts papers.
Direct Entry asks for two ‘A’ Level passes or an NCE at merit which should include Geography or Physics. Physics is accepted there and nowhere else on the page.
A JAMB score of 180 and above is the screening threshold for the 2026/2027 session at FUKASHERE and applies whichever route a candidate uses.
