It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in FUOTUOKE to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.
The Federal University, Otuoke, is a federal government-owned University located in Otuoke, a town in Ogbia’s local government area of Bayelsa State, Southern Nigeria. The University was established in 2011 and started with 282 pioneer students.
It offers degree courses at undergraduate levels. The University offers undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Science, Management Science, Social Science, Humanities, Education, Engineering, and Technology.
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Accountancy / Finance / Accounting;
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Chemistry;
You require;
Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Chemistry under the Faculty of Sciences in the above Universities include;
Chemistry and two Physics, Biology, and Mathematics.

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Chemistry if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and any one (1) in Physics, Mathematics, or Biology.
