Chemistry at O’Level, Economics at UTME for FUTA Estate Management
The two subject lists ask for different things. The O’level line names Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language among the five credits, leaving two unspecified.
At UTME the fixed subjects become Mathematics and Economics, with the fourth paper left entirely open beside the compulsory English Language.
Chemistry therefore matters only on the result sheet, while Economics matters only at the registration stage. Candidates should plan for both rather than assuming one list covers the other.
Direct Entry accepts two A’level or NCE passes drawn from Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Biology and Physics, which is the widest list on the page.
Those applying through UTME need a minimum of 180 and above in their JAMB result for the 2026/2027 session.
