Admission Requirements for Human Anatomy
WAEC/NECO Subject Combination
The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Human Anatomy is Five (5) SSCE credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Human Anatomy at FUTA include Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Human Anatomy if you do not intend to use UTME.
You require two (2) ‘A’ Level/NCE passes in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into FUTA for the 2026/2027 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
Mathematics Only at O’Level for FUTA Human Anatomy
Biology, Chemistry and Physics appear at all three stages of this application and have no alternatives offered anywhere on the page.
Mathematics behaves differently. It is required among the five O’level credits but takes no place in the UTME combination or in the Direct Entry subjects.
That makes it easy to overlook, yet a missing Mathematics credit would fail the first check regardless of how strong the three sciences are.
Candidates entering through UTME need a minimum of 180 and above in their JAMB result for the 2026/2027 session. Direct Entry applicants present two A’level or NCE passes from the three sciences instead.
