Where Mathematics Is Named at FUTA Industrial Mathematics
Mathematics is required among the five O’level credits, where it sits beside English Language and Physics, with two further science subjects completing the list.
It appears again at Direct Entry, where two A’level or NCE passes are accepted in Mathematics, Physics, Economics or Chemistry.
The UTME entry above names Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Biology and Agricultural Science rather than a strict set of three, so candidates should confirm the exact JAMB combination with the department before registering.
Economics and Agricultural Science in that list are worth noting, since they show the course is not restricted to pure science candidates. A minimum of 180 and above in JAMB applies for the 2026/2027 session.
