The Polytechnic Ibadan has published the admission requirements for its Department of Chemical Engineering. The page sets out the O’level subject combination, the four papers written at JAMB UTME, and the score the institution expects before a candidate is considered.
Three O’level subjects are fixed, namely Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Two further subjects come from a list that includes Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics or Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Further Mathematics, Geography and Economics or Commerce.
English Language appears inside that optional list, yet the page also states that a credit pass in it is required. Treat English as a separate obligation rather than one of your two free choices.
This is to inform the general public that the admission requirements for the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Ibadan Polytechnic (IBADAN POLY) have been published.

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

What IBADANPOLY Chemical Engineering Leaves Unstated
Unlike several neighbouring departments, this page publishes no separate departmental cut-off mark. The only score given is the institutional one, namely 150 and above in JAMB for admission to any department at the polytechnic.
That makes 150 the figure to work with here, though candidates should expect competition for a programme with fixed science requirements at both stages.
The UTME combination names all four papers, namely English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and either Physics or Technical Drawing. Only that last slot offers a choice.
Because Physics is already compulsory among your O’level credits, choosing Technical Drawing at JAMB does not release you from it. Check the two lists separately before registration closes.
