SLU Online Application

Online registration for the Screening Exercise for both the UTME and DE candidates will commence on Monday, 17th October 2022, and end at midnight on Sunday, 6th November 2022.

To register for the exercise, follow the procedures below:

STEP 1: Visit the Sule Lamido University website at www.slu.edu.ng, navigate to Admission from the menu, and click Online Application to register.

STEP 2: Applicants must pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only (exclusive of REMITA charges) as a post-UTME/DE Screening Fee via REMITA.

STEP 3: Fill in the Application Form with your accurate details and click the Submit button.

STEP 4: After submitting, the system will generate an acknowledgment slip containing your reference number.

SLU Post UTME Form Registration Procedure

Sule Lamido University Post UTME registration form for eligible candidates into the institution into all courses/Programmes for the 2024/2025 has commenced online.

These eligible candidates, including candidates who possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O-Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, can follow the online procedures stated above to kick-start their admission process.

The screening exercise for both UTME and DE candidates will take place as follows:

• Faculty of Education – Tuesday, 1st November 2025
• Faculty of Humanities – 2nd November 2025
• Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences – 7th November 2025
• Faculty of Social and Management Science – 8th November 2025

Screening Documents

Candidates must present the originals and photocopies of the following documents:

1. Acknowledgment Slip
2. Evidence of Payment (RRR Receipt)
3. UTME Result/DE Registration Slip
4. SSCE Statement(s) of Result
5. Two recent passport-sized photographs with white background 
6. Certificate of Indigeneship
7. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
8. ‘A’ Level Statement of Result (for DE candidates only)

Venue of the Screening

All eligible candidates should report at the University’s Permanent Site, Kano Jahun Road, Kafin-Hausa, Jigawa State, by 9:00 a.m. on the appropriate date.

Any candidate who fails to appear for the screening exercise on the date will not be considered for admission into the University during the 2024/2025 Academic Session.
