This is to inform the general public and all aspiring University of Benin (UNIBEN) students that the admission requirements for the Department of Education & Mathematics have been published.

The sections below cover the five O’Level credit passes, the four subjects sat in JAMB UTME, the Direct Entry route for A Level and NCE holders, and the JAMB score Benin requires.
Mathematics is fixed at every stage of this requirement, which is what you would expect from a programme that trains mathematics teachers. English Language is compulsory alongside it.
Around that pair the department takes a relaxed view, naming only one other science subject at O’Level and offering three options for the two extra UTME subjects.
