This is to inform the general public and all aspiring students of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) that the admission requirements for the Department of Education & Social Studies have been published.

The sections below cover the O’Level credit passes, the four subjects sat in JAMB UTME, a Benin waiver that narrows that combination, two Direct Entry routes, and the JAMB score required.
Education and Social Studies draws on the arts and the social sciences, and the general UTME line offers six subjects to choose three from.
The waiver remark changes that picture considerably, so read it before you register rather than working from the general list alone.
