The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Home Economics & Education include the following:
Five (5) ‘O’ Level NTC/NBC credit passes or TC II merit including English Language, Mathematics, Home Economics, Biology, and Chemistry.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language
- Chemistry
- Biology or Agricultural Science and one other subject.
Direct Entry Requirement
You need to fulfill these conditions to gain Direct Entry admission to study Home Economics and Education if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- NCE merit in Home Economics.
- ‘A’ Level passes in two (2) of Chemistry or any Biology, Botany, and Agricultural Science.
- ND/HND credit in Home Economics, Food Science Hotel, Catering Management, or any other related program.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIBEN for the 2024/2025 session should know that you must have scored 200 or above in your JAMB result to be eligible for the screening.
