This is to notify the general public and all aspiring students of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) that the Department of Business Administration admission requirements has been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Business Administration include the following:
Five (5) SSCE credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, and Economics, plus any two (2) of Accounting, Business Methods, Commerce, Government, Geography, and Statistics.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language
- Economics and one (1) other subject
Special Requirement (Waiver) Remarks
UNIMAID requires Mathematics, any of the Principles of Accounting/Commerce/Economics and any other Social Science subject.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Business Administration if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ level passes chosen from Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography or Statistics.
All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIMAID for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a minimum of 160 or above score in your JAMB result.
