UNIMAID Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering Admission Requirement 2024/2025

This is to notify the general public and all aspiring students of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) that the Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering admission requirements has been published.

UNIMAID Orientation

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Electrical/Electronic Engineering include the following:

Five SSCE credit passes to include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and any other Science subject.

JAMB UTME Subject Combination

Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Electrical / Electronic Engineering if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;

Two ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIMAID for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a score of a minimum of 160 or above in your JAMB result.
