The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Zoology include Five SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
English Language, Mathematics, Biology, and two (2) other science subjects.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language
- Biology and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks
UNIMAID requires Biology and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Agricultural Science, and Geography.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Zoology if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ level passes or NCE in Biology, Zoology, or Botany and one other Science subject
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIMAID for the 2026/2027 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a minimum of 160 or above score in your JAMB result.
