O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Food Science and Technology include five SSCE credit passes in the following:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Biology/Agric Science
- Physics
- Basic Catering and Food Services
- Bakery and Confectionaries
- Hotel & Catering Craft Course (Cookery)
- Hotel & Catering Craft Course (Food/Drinks Services)
- Basic Electricity.
Special Requirement (Waiver) Remarks:
- UNN requires ‘O’ level credit passes in five (5) subjects at not more than two (2) sittings. The subjects must include English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Biology or Agricultural Science, and any other science subject.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, English Language is compulsory for this course. The three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Food Science and Technology under the Faculty of Agriculture are Chemistry, Mathematics/Physics, and Agric Science.
