This is to inform the general public and all Adeyemi College of Education (ACEONDO) aspirants that the Department of French/Social Studies admission requirements have been published.

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
French is the fixed subject on both lists, and in each case it is supported by two choices from the same group of four social science subjects.
Geography, Economics, Government and History make up that group. They appear at Ordinary Level and again in JAMB, simply in a different order.
Entry Requirements

- Mathematics
- French and any two subjects from below:

- History
English Language, Mathematics and French are compulsory, and the remaining two credits come from the four social science subjects listed beneath them.

JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- French and any two subjects from below:
- Geography
- History
- Economics
- Government
The JAMB combination drops Mathematics and keeps the same option group, so a candidate can carry the same two social science subjects through from Ordinary Level.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted to the Adeyemi College Of Education for the 2026/2027 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 120 or above in your JAMB result.
That figure decides eligibility for the screening exercise. Reaching it is required but does not on its own secure a place.

Four Social Science Options at ACEONDO French and Social Studies
French is the subject that decides eligibility here, since it is compulsory at both stages and no alternative is offered for it.
The four option subjects then give candidates a consistent path, because the same group applies at Ordinary Level and in JAMB.
Mathematics is needed among the Ordinary Level credits though not in JAMB, and the JAMB score has to reach 120 for the college screening exercise.
