WAEC/NECO Subject Combination
The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Computer Science is Five (5) SSCE credits in Mathematics, Physics, English Language, and two other Science subjects.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Computer Science under the Faculty of Sciences at FUGASHUA include;
Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biology.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Computer Science if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ Level/NCE passes in Mathematics and Physics.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into FUGASHUA for the 2026/2027 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
Mathematics and Physics Are Fixed at FUGASHUA Computer Science
The O’Level requirement is five SSCE credits in Mathematics, Physics and English Language, plus two other science subjects. The remaining two must still come from the sciences.
The UTME combination keeps English Language compulsory, fixes Mathematics and Physics, and allows either Chemistry or Biology in the third place.
That is the only election a candidate makes anywhere on this page, and it affects which paper is sat rather than which credits are held.
Direct Entry is the narrowest condition, asking for two ‘A’ Level or NCE passes in Mathematics and Physics specifically.
A JAMB score of 180 and above is the screening threshold for the 2026/2027 session at FUGASHUA and applies whichever route a candidate uses.
