Agricultural Science Holds at FUTA Biochemistry
Agricultural Science is accepted in place of Biology at both O’level and UTME, which keeps the course open to candidates from agricultural secondary schools.
That allowance stops at Direct Entry, where the subjects named are Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Biology with no agricultural alternative.
Direct Entry also accepts two A’level or NCE passes at 200 or 300 level through an NCE, HND or OND programme, which is the broader of the two options on that route.
The university has a competitive admissions process and does not consider a student’s age, cultural background or religion when deciding whether to admit them. A minimum of 180 and above in JAMB applies for the 2026/2027 session.
