Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Criminology & Security Studies include Five SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two of the Arts or Social Science subjects.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Economics and one subject from below:
- Government
- History
- Geography
- Literature in English
- French
- CRK/IRK
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Criminology & Security Studies if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agric Science, Accounting, Business Management, History, and Government.
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks
UNIJOS does not require an ‘O’ Level credit pass in History and does not accept ND, HND, and NCE as entry requirements.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIJOS for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a minimum score of 180 or above in your JAMB result.
