O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Microbiology include the following:
- Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks
UNN requires O’level credit passes in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language.
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics or Mathematics
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Microbiology if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and any one (1) from Biology, Zoology, or Botany.
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks
UNN accepts passes at Higher School Certificate or GCE A/L in Chemistry and Biology, Chemistry and Zoology, or Chemistry and Botany in addition to the UTME entry requirement.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNN for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a minimum of 160 or above score in your JAMB result.
