The admission requirements consist of O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Candidates who wish to study Political Science at the University Of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka, must possess Five O’level credit passes, which include:
- English Language
- Government/History
- Literature In English, and any other two from:
