Admission Requirements for Chemistry
WAEC/NECO Subject Combination
The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Chemistry is Five (5) SSCE credits in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Chemistry under the Faculty of Sciences at FUPRE include;
Chemistry, Physics, and one other subject chosen from Biology or Mathematics.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Chemistry if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ Level/NCE passes in Chemistry and any of these subjects; Physics, Mathematics, or Biology.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into FUPRE for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
