O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Bio-medical Technology include Five SSCE credits in the following subjects:

- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Bio-medical Technology if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and any one of Physics, Biology/ Zoology/Botany, and Mathematics.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted to the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, for the 2025/2026 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 160 or above in your JAMB result.
