The O’Level requirement is five SSCE credits in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, English Language and any other Science subject.
The JAMB papers are English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, repeating the four named credits exactly and adding nothing new to study.
Direct Entry asks for A level passes in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, all three of them, which is the strictest form of that requirement.
A candidate holding only two of those three cannot use the Direct Entry route and would need to apply through UTME instead.
A JAMB score of 160 or above makes you eligible for screening in the 2026/2027 session.
